Abstract

Nasolabial cyst is a relatively uncommon benign non-odontogenic type of cyst. It commonly presents in young adults and manifests as a swelling in the region of the nasolabial furrow producing a bulge beneath the nasal ala. The resultant facial disfigurement and occasional pain following infection warrant a surgical treatment. Conservative enucleation via an intra-oral approach is the treatment of choice. A rare case of nasolabial cyst in an 11-year-old female child was reported.
